Sweepstakes Official Rules and Regulations (the "Official Rules") (collectively "Agreement")

NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED – SWEEPSTAKES IS OFFERED ONLY TO CURRENT LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FORTY EIGHT (48) CONTINGUOUS STATES OF THE UNITED STATES (U.S.) (EXCLUDING FLORIDA, NEW YORK AND RHODE ISLAND) WHO ARE.EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT TIME OF ENTRY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

Entries for Earthlab.com (the "Sponsor") – "Living Like Ed Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") will be accepted beginning March 28, 2008 at 12.01 a.m. and ending August 31, 2008, at midnight PDT (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entry is available via the World Wide Web at Earthlab.com. Those who enter (the "Entrant" or "Entrants") must provide their name, zip code, telephone number (including area code), date of birth, email address and gender to enter the Sweepstakes. To be eligible to win, Entrants must go online and enter at www.Earthlab.com, or mail in a three inch (3") by five inch (5") card including their name, address and city, state, zip code, telephone number (including area code), date of birth and email address to: Earthlab.com, "Living Like Ed Sweepstakes" 625 4th Avenue, #200, Kirkland, WA 98033. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 31, 2008 and received by September 7, 2008. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants give their express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by telephone, email and/or postal mail for Sweepstakes purposes only. Additionally, if an Entrant chooses to opt-in to a specific offer from a participating Sweepstakes Entity (as defined below), his/her personal information will be subject to that Sweepstakes Entity's privacy policy and terms of service (if applicable) and such Entrant agrees to receive additional email communication from that Sweepstakes Entity. Respective privacy policies of Sweepstakes Entities participating in opt-ins will be accessible from Sweepstakes entry page. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen, or mutilated entries, account information, mail or email or postage-due mail; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems; lost entries or transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, transaction processing, or communication; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or technical failures; garbled, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; printing errors appearing within these Official Rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, telephone, electronic, mail or otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an Entrant who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes. The use of automated entry or similar devices is prohibited and entries through such devices are void. The authorized account holder (the "Authorized Account Holder") of the email address submitted at the time of entry is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (i.e., business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Proof (to Sponsor's satisfaction) of being the Authorized Account Holder may be required by Sponsor.

Following the Sweepstakes Period, on or about September 15, 2008, winners will be selected by random drawing from the pool of eligible Entrants. If a potential winner can't be reached at the email address or telephone number provided on the entry form within five (5) business days from Sponsor's first (1st) attempt to contact him/her, or if he/she is found to be ineligible, or if he/she can't or doesn't otherwise comply with these Official Rules, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. One (1) Grand Prize Winner (the "GPW") will receive a trip for two to Los Angeles, CA, 3 nights, 4 days; with round trip airfare on Jet Blue Airlines from the nearest Jet Blue city to the GPW’s residence, and 3 nights hotel accommodations. The GPW and guest will spend four – six hours with Ed Begley, Jr at or near his residence, as determined by Ed Begley, Jr. The GPW will also receive a prize pack that will include Ed’s latest book and Living Like Ed Season 1 DVD. The estimated total value of the grand prize should not exceed $3,000.00; Twenty-five (25) second (2nd) prize winner will receive one (1) copy of either the "Living Like Ed" book or DVD by Ed Begley, Jr, the prize has a value of no more than Twenty-four dollars and ninety-five/100ths Dollars ($24.95) Employees, agents, successors and assignees of the EarthLab.com, BCII, and/or its advertising agencies and associated companies involved in the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to employees of Ed Begley Jr, Clarkson Potter Publishing, Brentwood Communication International, HGTV, Jet Blue and any subsidiaries and/or affiliate entities thereof, as well as family and household members (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and other persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, of each of the foregoing (the "Sweepstakes Entities"), shall be ineligible to participate.

ANY PRIZE IS AWARDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

By accepting any prize, the GWP agrees to and releases the Sponsor, Employees, agents, successors and assignees of the EarthLab.com, BCII, and/or its advertising agencies and associated companies involved in the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to employees of Ed Begley Jr, Clarkson Potter Publishing, Brentwood Communication International, HGTV, Jet Blue and any subsidiaries and/or affiliate entities thereof from all liability of any type whatsoever.

The prize must be received by August 31, 2009. All expenses not expressly stated in the package description, including but not limited to taxes, insurance, gasoline or otherwise are the responsibility solely of the GPW. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable or greater value. If the prize is not claimed within the specified time limit, the prize will be forfeited. Federal taxes, local state taxes, airports departure taxes, V.A.T. taxes, and any other fees or costs connected with the prize will be the sole responsibility of the GPW.

All winners will be notified by telephone or email within ten (10) business days after the date on which such winner is selected by Sponsor. The GPW must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification or risk forfeiture of the prize at the Sponsor's discretion. The Sponsor is not liable for any notification delay.

The Sponsor will have the power to rule on all aspects of the Sweepstakes. The decisions of the Sponsor shall be final and irreversible. The Sponsor reserves the right to make any necessary or appropriate changes to the Sweepstakes as it progresses. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes in whole or in part in event of technical or other difficulties or for any other reason at any time in its sole discretion.

The Sweepstakes is subject to this Agreement and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrant acknowledges Entrant has read this Agreement and agrees to abide by its terms and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. All U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. This drawing is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Residents of the States of Florida, New York and Rhode Island are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Prize winners will be responsible for all applicable taxes. The Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time and for any reason whatsoever, with no notice required, in its sole discretion.

NEITHER SPONSOR, ITS' SUBSIDIARIES BOTH DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, CONTRACTORS, OR ANY OF ITS AGENTS OR AFFILIATES OR ASSIGNS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNEES OF EARTHLAB.COM AND/OR BCII ITS ADVERTISING AGENCIES AND ASSOCIATED COMPANIES INVOLVED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EMPLOYEES OF ED BEGLEY JR, CLARKSON POTTER PUBLISHING, BRENTWOOD COMMUNICATION INTERNATIONAL, HGTV, JET BLUE AND ANY SUBSIDIARIES AND/OR AFFILIATE ENTITIES THEREOF AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS ("RELEASEES") SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND ENTRANTS BY ENTERING HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS RELEASEES FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LIABILITY OR DAMAGES WHATSOEVER DUE TO ANY INJURIES, DAMAGES LOSSES TO ANY PERSON (INCLUDING DEATH) OR PROPERTY OF ANY KIND RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, WINNING ANY PRIZE, ACCEPTANCE, POSSESION, MISUSE OR USE OF ANY PRIZE, OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES- RELATED ACTIVITY OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

By entering this Sweepstakes, the Entrant agrees that any and all claims against Sponsor, Employees, agents, successors and assignees of EarthLab.com, BCII, and/or its advertising agencies and associated companies involved in the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to employees of Ed Begley Jr, Clarkson Potter Publishing, Brentwood Communication International, HGTV, Jet Blue and any subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, judges and agents arising out of this drawing shall be settled by final and binding arbitration before the American Arbitration Association pursuant to the U.S. Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §1-16, or before the American Arbitration Association under its International Arbitration Rules if the claim arises from conduct outside of the U.S. Any such claim must be filed with the American Arbitration Association by September 30, 2008, or no claim or action may be sustained against , Inc., its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, judges and agents arising out of this Sweepstakes.

By entering a drawing in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to be bound by each and every term of these Official Rules.
